As an Apprentice Parts Advisor you will provide essential support and customer service. This role would be ideal for anyone who has a passion for Honda and its products but also enjoys a customer service role.

The successful candidate will be employed by a Honda Car Dealer in Swansea, where you will be required to learn all aspects of the job role of a Honda Parts Advisor. Training will be provided in the Dealership and at the Honda Institute Centre of Excellence.

You will receive top quality Honda training leading to nationally recognised industry qualifications. An Apprentice Parts Advisors work towards City & Guilds Diploma Level 2 in Vehicle Parts Operations, City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Employee Rights and Responsibilities, Essential Skills, the Honda Challenge Personal Development Programme and the Honda Parts Advisor Award.

The Parts apprenticeship lasts for 18 months and can lead to a rewarding career in an important department of any Honda Dealer with many possible career progressions.

Candidates must live within 20 miles of the vacancy

The McLaren MP4/4, also known as the McLaren-Honda MP4/4, is one of the most successful Formula One car designs of all time. Driven by teammates Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna, the car competed during the 1988 Formula One season. It was designed by American engineer Steve Nichols, the full responsibility for the design of the car having been conferred on him by Ron Dennis. Gordon Murray, as Technical Director, subsequently confirmed this in an internal memo allocating responsibilities for the design department, nominating Nichols as chief designer for the car, and giving himself the role of liaising between the drawing office and production.
